Tomorrow morning we will add a little distance to our strength intervals by running 3 x 2 miles with a half mile recovery between. The pace for these intervals is approximately half marathon pace or goal marathon pace minus 15 seconds. While the order of running workouts lately has been tailored towards those training for late winter/early spring marathons, anyone is welcome to join in for some or all of the fun.
Lately we've been launching in waves based on goal marathon pace so that pax all finish together. So if your pace is 9:00 per mile, a 0450-0455 launch time gets you safely back to the Bailey Road Park lot by 0615. If you need a little more or a little less time, or if you plan to join for only 1 or 2 of the intervals, adjust your launch time accordingly.
