1st Thursday Challenge – A Truly Heated, Dehydrated Challenge…

Event Date

Jul 05, 2018

6 dragged themselves to the parking lot of the Wilderness despite the heat and the fact that most were at least a bit hungover from the July 4th festivities.  We rarely see water bottles at an F3 workout, yet 2 of the 6 of us carried them this morning – a certain sign of dehydration battles!

21 Eight Count Burners in cadence

21 Merkins (YHC audibled with Jump Squats for an elbow issue) – singles

21 Dying (not dead, never dies) Cockroaches in cadence

Lap around the park

The above is repeated again and again, dropping 3 reps of each exercise each time – 21, then 18, 15, 12, etc.

It was noted that if the reps get shorter each time why doesn't the lap get shorter?  Hmmmmm….  Guess that's why this is a "Challenge".

We were a step slower today – didn't have time for MWAR after we finished all the sets and laps (which comes to just over 2 miles, btw).  Elbow planks for just under a minute was all we did for Mary, other than the Dying Cockroaches done throughout.

Thanks to these 5 who posted – if not for you the fartsack would have easily won me over today.
