8 pax ignored the snooze button and the cold temps to come see what Cherry Bomb or The Force had to share this morning. Turns out there was much to share.
Disclaimer
Warm-o-Rama and Lower Body Mosey.
Head up the hill, down BF Rd, past Bradley, into the neighborhood South of the middle school, around the school, to the track and back to the original parking lot.
Stop as needed to gather pax. “Rest” with things like squats, Christian McCalf-raises, lunges Mary, etc. We also stopped and rested with a couple rounds of pull-ups.
End back where we started.
Grab rocks and blocks.
DORA
Partner up. While partner circles the lower island, partners do:
100 block skull crushers
200 block lawn mowers
300 Chest press with rocks laying on block for better range of motion
MWAR
Moleskine
YHC planned to get some miles at Fartlek until Cherry Bomb asked for help at Fallout, see touring the grounds was an easy call. We cover 2.25 miles between the mosey and DORA.
Gambini and Rodeo complained about the refs at their youth basketball games until we ran them far enough to drop the subject. It turned to complaining about the workout after about a mile.
T-Claps to Peart Plus for having 2 blocks in his SUV (just in case). The AO is running a little low on inventory (3.5 blocks remaining).
To ensure time for MWAR we shaved about 1 set off the chest presses but all groups likely got more than 200 reps in.
Prayers up to many sick family member of the pax. Physical, emotional, all of it.
Sat is Polar Bear 6:30-8:30(ish) at Harris Teeter Jetton Rd.
Sat night need a few more volunteers o work at PYC Gala fundraiser for Hope House and Op Sweet Tooth. See Cherry Bomb, Olive or Possum for deets.
Wed 0530 at Disc Pl Kids deck (ya know, where Mad Scientist was back when it was great) is the annual running of the Daytona 500 Q’ed by Olive.
Aye.
Gambini is a State grad so it makes sense that he would complain about the refs, but Rodeo? I figured he’d just tell the kid(s) to play without fouling. 😛
Is the Daytona on Wed or Fri? I thought it was going to be a KB 500 at Cauldron?
SOLID comments coming in from Blackbeard! Must’ve come up with that prime material while walking. Hehe.
As the author, did you get notified of my comment? It doesn’t look like the new site lets me know when someone replies to my comment which makes it tough to get a run-on thread going.
Pretty sure I still get notified of comments – but maybe it’s just when you’re the bb author. Just stay on the page and hit refresh all day to track new comments!
Rodeo and I put aside our collegiate differences to unite on the need for better refs on a local level. Maybe a new 2nd F initiative – F3 volunteering to ref sports for our local sports leagues!
Yes I received an email when both of you submitted comments. Maybe it’s only for the author of the BBs, or perhaps it’s everyone like it was before, but now you have a new boss who is locking you down. Take some time to talk with your boss about the awesomeness of F3 and the need to commit a minimum of 17 hours per week toward F3 Twitter and the F3 Isotope. That is in addition to the multiple F3 coffee hours and lunches (and we assume it’s ok to expense those on the company card when used during work hours).
Frontier encourages expensing 2ndF purchases. And if he’s changed his tune, well — he’ll never read this anyway.
I suggested to the new web master that he get Chatbot to write a custom WP plugin to notify commenters. But in the meantime, Frontier will never know if I spend my day refreshing the page…
Oh yes – I had that same idea about the custom WP plugin…
