While 20+ opted for fifteen extra minutes of beauty sleep to join OBC at 5:30 (gents – it didn't work), four showed for the AES for four miles of running and eight pain stations…  

Leg 1 – Depart from Green and run up Main St (toward Town Hall).  Right on Jackson Street and run Jackson all the way to Brickhouse Tavern @ Delburg St.  Five burpees OYO, wide merkins X 10 IC, squats x 10 IC, and LBC x 10 IC.

Leg 2 – Run down Delburg to Beaty St.  Cross Griffith and run up Sloan St to the Ada Jenkins Center basketball court.  Five burpees OYO, Carolina dry dock X 10 IC, jump squats x 10, and heels to heaven x 10 IC.

Leg 3 – Run to Jetton and then down Jetton to Harris Teeter lot.  Five burpees OYO, merkins X 10 IC, forward lunge x 10 IC, and JLo x 10 IC.

Leg 4 – Run down Griffith St to Roosevelt Wilson Park playground.  Five burpees OYO, dips X 10 IC, step ups x 10 IC, and Jane Fonda x 10 IC x 2 sides.

Leg 5 – Exit the back of the park and head back up the Sloan St hill again and past Ada Jenkins.  Turn up Jetton St. to the Community Garden and down to the open grass near Fuel Pizza.  Five burpees OYO, diamond merkins X 10 IC, side lunge x 10 IC, and Mason twist x 10 IC.

Leg 6 – Start up Main St. to Walnut St.  Down Walnut to Spring St.  Right on Spring St. to the bottom of the Carburritos lot.  Five burpees OYO, decline merkins X 10 IC, back lunge x 10 IC, and Freddy Mercury x 10 IC.

Leg 7 – Back up Spring St (uphill!) to South St and up South to Lake Norman Christian School.  Five burpees OYO, BTTW for 30 count, people's chair for 30 count, and low flutter x 10 IC.

Leg 8 – Back to the Green to join the 5:30 crowd for a little extra Mary.

It was a great group this morning and nice to get a four-mile run mixed into an F3 workout.  Hope Easy's calf heals up soon!
