Bootlegger Master Q Pierogi was a gametime decision for the fledgling Race City AO due to the joy of moving into his family's new house.  His absence was confirmed via Slack at 12:30 am.  His one request:  "Please do something weird in my honor.  Find some picnic tables."  Well, we did weird AND we did picnic tables.

The Thang

Warmup circuit around the circle: mosey, high knees, butt kickers, goose steppers, carioca, backwards run.  Circle up for COT (in 4-count cadence):

  • SSH
  • IST
  • Mountain climbers
  • Windmills
  • Slow, deep squats

Mosey over to the Crack Shack for some sweet pull-up action.  Instructions were given to partner-up to help your technique, and then perform each set to fatigue, getting at least 10 reps with help.  Pull-up selection included:

  • Pull-ups
  • Chin-ups
  • Wide-grip pull-ups
  • Bill Clinton pull-ups

Next circle up in the playground for some Jack Webbs.  Most were expecting 10 reps.  So we did 11.

Next we all picked up the rather heavy picnic table and carried it to the middle of the playground.  Do various picnic table things, including Zamperini and overhead press.  Put the picnic table back.

Mosey to the parking lot for MARY.  We did some MARY but I don't remember what it was because Manhands.

The Moleskin:

  1. So, somehow 2 Girls 1 Cup came up early in the workout.  I don't know how.  But it did.  And then Chief kept asking questions.  And it got weird.  Almost as if Pierogi planned it that way….

  3. Pretty sure Manhands posted a sushi picture on Facebook Friday night.  It was like a scratch-and-sniff on a 12-hour delay.  NOT pleasant.  In fact, it prettymuch ended MARY because we couldn't be there anymore.
