January 2012.  YHC was enormous.  My doctor told me he was concerned as he looked at my weight increase little by little for the last decade.  We talked about heart disease that was in my family.  We talked about life expectancies and if I wanted to be around to walk my daughters down the isle and teach my sons what it's like to be a man when they get older, than I had to change some things.  I started with my first post at F3 Davidson the next day.  I was EH'd by Gump and Gamma.  Both HIM were friends from church and have been telling me about F3 for a while.  Back then, Davidson launched from the college track.  I can't remember who led the workout but I remember wondering why 45 minutes felt liek an eternity.  Fast forward a year or so and I saw that F3 Race City was launching.  JACKPOT.  Finally workouts in my own back yard.  I was lucky enough to be at the very first Race City workout.  Long and the short is, that I lost 50 pounds, am no longer on medications my doctor had my on when I was giant, and I'm still at it today.  All good stuff.  Today, I had the Q in Race City to celebrate posting all over LKN (and various places when I travel occasionally).  It went something like this:

Warmorama
SSHx20
Cotton Picker x20
Mountain Cliumber x20

Mosey to the round about.
Every time you pass an end, drop and do a burpee
When you pass the opposite end, do one jump squat
10 laps of this.

Mosey to the top fo the parking lot.

Top, Middle. Bottom. "fun" with Mericans in the middle each way.

Mosey to the covered shelter for dips, mericans, etc.

Mosey to the boat launch for a stair way to 7.

Back to the flag.

Moleskine:
1.  We coverred over 3 miles.  I was smoked.
2.  I planned none of it prior to 0700.
3.  Race City is home to some of the best friends I've ever had in my life. I am greatful.
4.  My mother told me when I was young that you become who you surround yourself with.  I am now teaching that to my kids.  Glad to be surrounded by the Race City brothers.
5.  I hope im around to still be doing this when I am Lear's age.  By the way, he would have hated todays workout.
6.  Hummer was on time.
7.  Cheez Whiz did not wear tights.
8.  Getting into my car, I witnessed the clown car all changing outside the giant van.  Ape Hangers told me when the weather is cold, they change IN THE VAN.  Yikes.
