9 Pax Revolted Against this Morning’s Cold at Davidson’s The Revolt Run!

Event Date

Nov 13, 2019

Additional Pax Present:  Tin Man & Puddin'.

The forecasted Real Feel temperature of 14 did not intimidate 9 hard charging Pax from coming out for this morning's The Revolt run.  We ran the East Loop in an attempt to keep a warmer mindset.  It must have worked, since the cold didn't seem all that bad and YHC was reminded that reality is rarely as bad as we believe in our minds that it will be – the key is just showing up.

The route started at Hemlock tree on the Green, turned RIGHT on Concord Rd and headed out to & through traffic circle, continued on the greenway to a RIGHT on Robert Walker, down to a RIGHT on the Greenway, continued on the Greenway all the way around to head up Kimberly to a LEFT on Concord and continued back to the big Hemlock tree on Main Street.

Puddin' & I ran the actual route, and in true Revolt style, all 7 others ran their own routes, slightly different than the published route.

There was a general reminder given to specific Pax about wearing shorts over tights in cold weather – not as bad on a run as it is when doing curls, etc.

I'm always engouraged by those who come out to The Revolt run and continually greatful for the opportunity to get out and run through this great community with such great men!
