5 of NoCo's PAX showed up early and got after it Rooster Cogburn style.

 

Begin with a mosey through the parking lot mixing in high knees, carioca, butt kickers and backwards run.  Then circle up for SSH, IST and Cotton Pickers.

 

The Workout:

The workout, a/k/a "Cindy", consisted of the following:

  • 1,000 yd run and 5 sets of 5 pullups, 10 merkins, 15 squats
  • 800 yd run and 4 sets of 5 pullups, 10 merkins, 15 squats
  • 600 yd run and 3 sets of 5 pullups, 10 merkins, 15 squats
  • 400 yd run and 2 sets of 5 pullups, 10 merkins, 15 squats
  • 200 yd run and 1 set of 5 pullups, 10 merkins, 15 squats

Took us right to the end time.

 

Moleskin:

  • Not sure where to begin on this one, but 9-Lives posts a HC via Twitter for something he calls the Standard.  This sounds really important, like something by which all things are to be judged.  However, he ends up hitting the snooze button and just shows up for the regular workout at 0600.
  • Calypso, not to be outdone, sees the HC for the thing by which all things are to be judged and decides that he can't miss it.  However, when 9-Lives is a no-show at 0530, Calypso decides to recline the seat in his atomic vehicle and start staring at the back of his eyelids until 0600 rolls around.
  • I'll let any readers opine on who made the better choice.
  • Nice job by the PAX helping with the cadence for our exercises.  I guess you can count by ones or twos, or even both.  Either way, we got there.
  • Uncle Rico and Ty Webb turned it on for the last couple of runs.  I was wondering when that was going to happen.  Nice work!
