NOTE * – the PAX on this chilly evening were a cool half dozen – not currently registered on the web-site are: Canary, Hipster, Gable and Mayhem (the Davidson version – not Mayhem in the a.m.)
When I trolled a recent backblast from Silver Bullet – I was up front with him and told him I would steal it. And true to my word I did, with very little editing to account for the change in venue.
It went a little something like this:
WARM-O-RAMA
SSH x 25 IC
Windmill x 15 IC
Cotton Pickers x 15 IC
Squats x 10 IC
Mountain Climbers x 15 IC
Mosey to DUMC and get a PAVER that you'll be spending plenty of time with.
THE THANG
We took the pavers across the parking lot to the dumpsters – overhead press along the way.
Following Silver Bullet's lead – a sheet was placed near the pavers storage location that listed the alphabet and a corresponding exercise with each letter. For the evening the PAX went old school, no nicknames – we used our hospital names. Our full hospital names.
The goal for the night was to spell you full name in pain.
From the dumsters/pavers – run back to the paver storage location and the exercise list. Find the next letter in your name.
Run back to the dumpsters to perform the exercise. Repeato, Repeato…….When complete – find a PAX still going and work on his next letter.

Recover/Recover
Soupy Moleskin:
– Everyone seemed to enjoy the format and several PAX helped others try and finish, although a few of us didn't. I believe the longest name had 19 letters. Which is a lot of trips back and forth.
– Good mix of pain stations and running – my watch showed 2.2 miles for the post.
– There was talk of stealing my steal – feel free. Although that may mean youn owe Silver Bullet a beer.
– Grouch was talking about Q'ing "sometime". You're ready to step up, everyone is. If you haven't Q'd – there's no time like the present. We need more Sweatshop Q's (Tu/Th evenings) in particular – and new blood in general. Grouch – we're looking forward to your Virgin Q.
– As always – it is an honor and pleasure to be in the company of you fine men.
– I'm back on the schedule Thursday night – come back, bring a friend.
