Denver gets half-baked at ELHS Mustang on 4/20 day
So many choices for what to do with a 420 day workout. We could all grab some rocks and pass them to the left hand side, play some tunes around the 420 theme, aka Spin Doctors “What Time is it? [4:30]” Cypress Hill (Pretty much any song from them) and as C# or Clsoer said pretty much any 90's rap song. While 4/20 would have been a perfect day to have Dandelion (Denver’s very on “Weed man”) join us, he doesn’t post to ELHS Mustang. I imagine he’ll get lots of fun prank calls today.
We had 8 this morning, including 1 FNG named Tim Simmons. Tim comes to us via a Ziplock EH. Tim recently had to dress up as Richard Simmons, so zippy thought naming him “Oldies” short for “Sweatin’ to the Oldies” would be a good fit.

Continue on to the playground. Today’s fun is brought to you by Bodyweight Fran. Fran is 3 rounds of 2 exercises. Do the same number of reps for both exercises during each round decreasing from 21-15-9, and do them as fast as you can. Our 2 moves, Pull-ups and Burpees.
Round 1 – 21 Pull-ups, 21 Burpees
Round 2 – 15 Pull-ups, 15 Burpees
Round 3 – 9 Pull-ups, 9 Burpees

Mosey to the pull-up bar for a toes-to-bar/Low-Plank rotation.
Everyone cycle through and complete 10 toes-to-bar. Q planned for 20 but this proved to be ambitious, so we called Omaha, stopped at 10 and finished it off.
Mosey back up to the launch pad and complete 10 more IC Chest to ground ‘Mericans

Reflection
I get that leading up to this point and choosing verses based on 420 is a bit sacrilegious, but I wanted to go with a funny theme, and today is 4/20, so I picked a couple of 4:20 verses. I also believe God has an incredible sense of humor, so here they are.
Luke 4:20 “Then he rolled up the book and gave it back to the attendant and sat down; and the eyes of all in the synagogue were gazing at Him.”
This verse is right after Jesus’ 40 days and 40 nights in the desert, where Jesus is tempted by Satan, and Jesus rejects him. Jesus traveled back to Nazareth and this is where He begins His Ministry.
Then 1 John 4:20 “If anyone says, I love God, and hates his brother in Christ, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, Whom he has not seen.”

- Everyone seemed to like the theme. At least one, I’m not naming names, may have thought we were really going to celebrate 420 day
- Oldies got a good dose of F3 today. Welcome Oldies
- Glad to see C# wasn’t in the fartsack today
- Cyclone seems to enjoy ELHS Mustang. He live right here, but was posting almost always at Lake Forrest Now we get to see him often.
- Ziplock and I almost traded Q for today, but since YHC had this planned already we just stuck with it.
- Great to see Sonar on a Wednesday, he’s usually travelling for work…or does he just say that so he can fartsack on Wednesdays
- Mulligan does a solo run standard for 2 miles before the workout…kudos brother
- Closer says he might join him next time
- I think we just started a run standard at ELHS Mustang before workouts
- 4/25 is Murph Monday…this may have been in preparation for that
