Reflection: What’s your rate of growth?

“You can’t get better fighting someone who’s worse than you”

We don’t know what greatness we are capable of until we’re tested.  The article linked below suggest a simple formula:

“The magnitude of the challenge x Your intensity = Rate of Growth”

Not that it’s scientific or anything, but an interesting idea to gauge where you are.  Several of our pax are working for BRR (big challenge + big intensity).  Growth opportunity for sure.  Many are setting personal records for consistent days posting.  What are the challenges you are setting for yourself?  Link attached is a great read by Eric Greitens; a Navy Seal, Rhodes Scholar, boxing champion and humanitarian leader.  He founded The Mission Continues and is the author of the New York Times best-seller ‘The Heart and the Fist’.   http://www.artofmanliness.com/2015/03/19/whats-your-challenge/

Mole Skin:

  • Today’s stats: 80 pull-ups, 155 Merkins, (4) ¼ mile sprints

  • Q forgets gloves and mentions going bareback.  Immediate silence from PAX only meant that Clark was a no show today

  • Nickel & Dimes brought some PAX grumbling from Murph hangover

  • The Look on PAX faces as the phrase “¼ mile sprints” sank in was priceless!

  • Light headed and Tunnel vision showed up between sprints 2 and 3

  • Goodwrench crushes every sprint #wheels-stamina-go

  • 7 really is the half point of a 10 rung ladder – Cheetah math verified

  • Not sure how to count WWI’s, but singles will confuse the PAX

  • Sure I missed a lot of the chatter as I was gasping for air most of the morning.  Sound off below on anything you remember

Respectfully Submitted,
