11 souls took on the muggy gloom for a workout designed to honor the brave men who helped make this world a better place on June 6, 1944. Pax listed plus Romo, Sprinkle (FNG) and Bionic (FNG) all left sweat angels on the AO by the time we were done.

REFLECTION
Ephesians 6:10-17
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
MOLESKIN
– Q wanted to pay homage to those who crawled the beaches, climbed the cliffs and stormed the strongholds. 100 yards of soldier crawl looked intimidating on paper – but compared to what those men did, it was a walk in the park.
– Awesome efforts all-around, as always.
– Didn't take much to work up a sweat this morning.
– Closer and perhaps one or two others might want adjust their diets for pre-workout evenings…just sayin'…
– Welcome to our two FNGs today! Dan (also War Daddy today at 50!) and his 2.0, Austin (War Baby), made their first appearances this morning and both held their own pretty danged well. Extra kudos for a 2.0 to post for the first time at a 0530 workout.
– FNG Dan: while we contemplated F3 names based upon your Florida history, Wolfpack lineage and accounting expertise – it was just too hard hard to pass up a reference to your weather knowledge. Therefore, we dub thee "Sprinkle"
– FNG Austin: this may go back too far for some of our younger PAX but…with your interest in building things (better…stronger…faster…) and your first name, the Q just couldn't stop thinking back to his childhood and a TV show called "The 6 Million Dollar Man" (look it up) and we dub thee "Bionic".
– Take a few moments today to read up on some of the unbelievable things our fighting men – and those of our allies – did on D-Day. While I have always been interested in the details of that day, I always seem to learn something new each time I read a story about it.
– As always, it is an honor to lead and a privilege to be a part of this group.
