Just a good ole beatdown

FNG is Closer's 2.0, who finds $50 in the parking lot!?!  And likes to play baseball, so after kicking around some names, we dub the "Money Ball"!

Here is how it all went down…

Pre-beatdown blurb:

This week I hit the 2 year mark of doing F3!  My first workout was because of Diesel’s EH on me at his son’s birthday party.  Cheetah was the Q.  While I am still not the most fit guy out here, I can’t imagine what I would look like if I were not out here!  I'm thankful not for the opportunity to work on my physical fitness, but also my relationship with Jesus (AKA, spiritual fitness).  In the same two years, I have got my family to church, and joined the church, and my son has accepted Jesus and been baptized!  I have made some lifestyle changes such as listening only to Christian stations.  I have made some really great friends, and I am looking forward to what our future holds.  That said; let’s get to what we came here to do!

The Thang
Head down to the track.  Partner up.  Each run in opposite directions, when you meet your partner run back the way you came. Plank.
10 Burpees OYO
Mosey to baseball field parking lot
10 Burpees OYO
Quadra Feel Ya on the big hill (down and up, then 5 Burpees at top), repeato
Mosey back to track
Partner up.  Each run in opposite directions again, same as before, Plank.
10 Burpees
Mosey to bleachers, up over down, 5 Burpees, repeato
Mosey to Australian bar for 10 Down unders, 5 Burpees, repeato
Mosey to the Loading Dock(stop by the rock pile to pick up a restrictor plate to run with),
cycle through 3 stations,
5 wall hops each side (timer)
iron chair with air press (with rock if you choose)
5 burpees
Repeato!
Mosey back to front practice field (dropping off our token rocks on the way)
Once at the practice field, 10 Burpees.
Sprint out, but kickers back
Sprint out, high knees back
Sprint out, lunge walk back
10 Burpees!

So that's 90 burpees for today, good job gentlemen!

Reflection –

I had already chosen my reflection and verses, but decided to look back at the backblast from my first workout to drum up ideas for this workout.  It was pretty amazing when I got down to that part of the reflection and there lies one of the very same verses, I had already chosen!  Coincidental?  I think not!  Something I heard 2 years ago, finally sunk in!

Sometime you have to "show to know" as there was a little more to this one, but here is the key point…

If you are struggling with trials or temptations, these verses are helpful:

Romans 14:23 NLT
But if you have doubts about whether or not you should eat something, you are sinning if you go ahead and do it. For you are not following your convictions. If you do anything you believe is not right, you are sinning.

James 1:12-15 ESV
Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him. Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.

Moleskin:
