The Vern KB Variation – Thunderdome Style

PAX of 4 (plus one late spectator, eh hum, Jedi) threw down the gauntlet at the Thunderdome and tackled YHC's variation of the Vern with KB's. Simple, straight forward, you vs. you, brutal.

Warmarama

  • Take KB's (2 35lb, 40lb, & 50lb) from parking lot of Bailey Middle to opposite side of the track
  • Drop KB's and mosey 100 meters down track straight away and mosey 100 meters back as YHC calls out instructions

The Thang – Perform each exercise below OYO followed by a 200 meter run. Complete all five exercises (with 200 meter run in between each exercise) to complete one rounds. Complete as many rounds as possible. Goal is to complete 4-5 rounds.

  • KB swings – 20X
  • Thrusters – 20X
  • Muricans – 20X
  • Lunges w/ KB – 20X
  • Pull-ups – 10X

Grab collateral and head back to parking lot for COT.

Moleskin:

  • PAX did great! Minimal mumble chatter (except when Jedi showed up in his flippy floppies and gave us crap. We were all too smoked to respond)
  • Billy Bob owned this little beast by completing 3-3/4 rounds (5 may have been a bit too ambitious)
  • Strutter did an excellent job of killing it and staying after it – love the drive brother!
  • As always, glad to have Ramrod out there nearly every Tuesday evening doing his thing and getting stronger and faster
  • Always humbled to get out there and work hard beside some great men – thank you for the accountability and for pushing me!
