The Moleskine:

  • ??Royal Robbins (yes that's his real name) was born in 1935 and was a pioneer of American Rock Climbing.  He was a huge proponent of "clean climbing" using no bolts to ruin rock faces.  Famously known as the first person to solo El Capitan in Yosemite.  After developing psoriatic arthritis, Royal switched his dedications to kayaking.  Royal is also known for a outdoor apparel line.
  • Much heated discussion about squat form started the day.  The verdict is still out to the proper form, but I think Double-Double has the best idea.
  • Glad to have Duuuuuude this morning to regale stories of the initial freshman days.
  • Thoughts of freshman days turned back to stories of Oktoberfest wearing only the mascot head as the manager of a men's college team.
  • Great morning, great weather, for the last days of summer.  Always an honor to lead a great group of men!
