Fightclub – fear is in your head

Event Date

Dec 23, 2016

Sorry for the delay and please forgive the shortened version of the back blast,,,,  the holiday season is causing time schedules to be negatively effected.  Four men risked their bodies and their pride in order to further their understanding of high risk altercations.  It is not an easy to task to learn how to effectively dismantle a human body, especially if that person is trying to inflict damage upon your person.  In situations such as this, our own minds can become the biggest adversary that must be overcome in order to survive.  Fear is the minds way of letting us know that a dangerous condition exists.  But if this fear interferes with our ability to function, both physically and mentally, then we will not likely survive.  Often we are faced with an agry and agressive opponenet.  Their actions often cause us to be very concerned about what he may do to us.  During this phase we are not seeing him as a target but as something to be avoided.  The avoidance part should come alongfar before an altercation begins.  If you want out, then this decision should be made when we are not under stress.  But now, when a hand is barreling towards us, is not the time to be thinking of how this started and how it could have been avoided.  Our response should be one that will nuetralize the attack and eleminate any further attackes during this altercation.  Our focus must be on the liabilities and weaknesses that come with every attack, step, move or word.  He will actually tell you what is needed to be done to his mind and body to stop him in his tracks.  But fear must first be recognized for what it is.  Just a signal that is alerting us to the present danger.  After that, fear is no longer useful.  The Next step is to see what is actuallly occurring and where the danger exists.  It may not be the hand coming at you and it is certainly not his angry face.  Next,,, what targets will be most effective and what attacks on your part will be required to destroy these target, while you are avoiding or disrupting the attack. Pretty simple,,, Yes.  Well it soon will be.  The training of the mind and body will give each the ability defeat any attack and the confidence to trust your evaluation of the situation.  But training is required.  For those that have been coming regularly, the beginnings of the training is becoming apparant,, and by spring time these committed men will be able to see a marked difference in their ability to neutralize any attack.

Thank you for your time and trust.  I enjoy sharing this knowledge with you fine Men.

Have a Merry Christmas.
