Twin peaks

It was the worst of times in Race City over the last few days.  The weather has been ugly.  The workout numbers have been in the single digits.  Hummer has been sick.  Man Hands is getting fat(ter).  Big Mean rucks with other people besides his beloved hill people.  Tick Tock's washing machine is malfunctioning.  Pierogi went to China to negotiate on behalf of Preident elect Trump. Cupcake got an iPhone.  Morale was at an all time low in the 115 & 117.

Then, finally, the weather topped the 40 degree mark, and the Pax showed up for a Wednesday workout to shake off the cob webs.  Master Q Dewey allowed me to lead this band of fools, and we went for a stroll around Raceway Drive.

Mosey to an undisclosed parking lot
SSF x15
Mericans x10
Mosey to the parking lot of Iron Thunder (insert short guitar lick here)

Iron Thunder Saloon sits on the top of a gradual hill with a long parking lot leading you to the front door of the run down biker bar.  There was one car in the parking lot.  One of the Pax said "either someon got lucky last night, or he's still in there".

We started with burpees at the top of Iron Thunder's hill.
Then run down the hill and up the next hill for some jump squats
Back and forth, up and down between the two hills with various excercises at the peak of each hill.
The Pax have deemed this workout "Twin Peaks".

The run back was interrupted with 4 stops for 5 burpees each as we worked our way back to the A.O. where Cupcake was leading Lear and Senator in some exercises.

Mary did not happen.  THe ground was wet as per my policy.

Moleskine:
1.  Congratulations to Pierogi for being elected to serve on the F3 Isotope Board of Directors.  It will be nice to have a fellow Race City Pax on the BOD with me.
2.  Man Hands dug into the disgusting ashtray outside Iron Thunder to sprinkle on the snow, so we could have some traction during our incline mericans.  Thank you Man Hands for pouring some of that nasty sand in my shoes.
3.  Lots of BRR talk today in Slack.  It's going to be huuuge.
4.  Thanks to MQ Dewey for the opportunity to lead.  I love Race City.  Best in all of F3.
