Only two were brave enough to venture out to St. Mark this morning to do battle with their demons.

All exercises in cadence unless noted otherwise.

WARM-O-RAMA

Mosey over to pullup bars

SSH x 15

Windmill x 10

Toy Soldier x 10

IST x 10

THE THANG

400m run

40 squats (OYO)

30 WW2 situps (OYO)

20 merkins (OYO)

10 pullups (OYO)

 

Now that we’re warm:

Mosey over to cinder blocks

Ty Webb does block swings AMRAP while Crimson takes a lap around the lower lot

Flapjack

REPEATO with skull crushers, curls, shoulder press, bent over rows, chest press

 

Mosey down around to the side of the church and line up on the curb for a ladder

Run to the retaining wall, jump on top and do 1 merkin, run back to curb and do 10 jump squats

REPEATO increasing merkins by 1 up to 10 and decreasing jump squats by 1 down to 1

People’s chair on the wall

Air presses x 15

 

Mosey around to circular-ish island for burpees in a box!

Start at parking spot #1 and do 1 burpee

Run around island and stop at parking spot #2 and do 2 burpees

REPEATO up to spot 5 and then back down to spot 1.

 

Mosey to fountain area and get a bench

Dips x 15

Decline merkins x 10

Apollo Creed x 15

REPEATO

 

Mosey back to parking lot for Mary

MARY

Heels to heaven x 10

Pretzel crunch x 10 each side

Pickle pounder x 10

J-lo x 10

MOLESKIN

  1. Enjoyed the last minute Q opportunity.  I figured since Crimson always Q’s I would take the reins and let him relax and be able to fully enjoy a beatdown.

  2. At 5:58AM it was still only the two of us.  A couple of false alarm drive-by’s and it was 5:30AM, so off we went!

  3. This workout took place at a feverish pace since there were only two of us.  Assisted by the fact that Crimson’s fitness level is considerably superior to most.

  4. Proud “Q Moment” happened during burpees in a box.  After we completed the last set of 5 burpees, I looked at my watch and realized we needed to kill more time so I decided to call a REPEATO and descend back down the burpee ladder.  Upon learning of this, Crimson said (and I quote) “Oh no, I don’t feel so good.”.  Highlight of my Q career!  That’s like Scrappy saying that he’s tired.  Or like Gnarly Goat saying he doesn’t want to do any more merkins!

  5. Still no better way to start the weekend than with a True Grit crush-fest.
