The FireRuck

2300 hrs: 9 men ComEx the FireRuck in the front yard of Firehouse 8 in the heart of eclectic Plaza-Midwood.  You're welcome for the drum line that was there to send us off.  Red Fox and Pate from CLT Metro were aboard also.

We humped down The Plaza, past the old money, past Busy Bee mart, past the neon church, past the neighborhood theater to Station 7.

We humped down N. Davidson past Amelie's, made it up the BONESAW because it was there, down the greenway to Station 1.

We humped through uptown, interacted with some urban outdoorsmen, over the 277 moat, down South Blvd to Station 2.

We humped down East Blvd on the dmz between NoDil and SoDil to F3 CLT Metro central HQ aka the gravel parking lot.

We humped the greenway, cut through UCLA campus (University of Charlotte, 'Lizabeth Avenue) to 7th St.

We humped up 7th St, cut through OBT's neighborhood, up Pecan, back to Station 8.

FINEX 0224 hrs.  12.7 miles total.

Hard work. Some pain, some blisters, much mumblechatter and much 2f. Totally CSAUP.   Blackberry continued on to the YETI for a CSAUP on top of a CSAUP which is bona fide CSAUP.

Bruce from the Teeter parking lot in Huntersville will never forget his trip to the Teeter that night.

Chime in the comments with your recollections!  That was a fun ruck!  Thanks for joining in!  Iron Sharpens Iron!  Aye!
