Burpees = calorie burn


18 PAX came out in the gloom the day after the Easter feast.  Objective was to burn some calories, the burpees were mixed in so the exact order is not necessarily depicted accurately – that's my disclaimer.

Started off with a quick mosey around the parking lot.

Then to get things started –  5 Burpees

Side Straddle hops, arm circles, wind mills

5 Burpees

Mountain climbers

Merkins 

5 Burpees

Short mosey to the circle of pain.   Bear crawl – 5 Burpees, crabwalk –  5 burpees, Broad jump plank – 5 burpees

1 cycle of Rocket Burpees –  mosey and do 1 burpee at each light post

Mosey to pull-up bars

5 pull-ups, 5 chin-ups, 5 commando ups, 5 toe touches, 5 burpees, repeato

Mosey to block pile where the pax were introduced to the Block Web – up to 10

start with 1 merkin, 1 block press then 2 merkins, 2 block presses…….10 merkins, 10 block presses

5 burpees

Curls, skull crushers and alternating arm lawn mowers

5 burpees

Mosey to parking lot 

1 cycle of Rocket Burpees

5 minutes of Mary

Finished with 82 burpees – Nice work!  a little shy of the 100 I was shooting for but strong none the less.

Moleskine

1. Lots of grumbling in regards to the burpees but the pax got used to it and knocked them out hard

2. Block pile was mostly destroyed we were able to scrounge up enough pieces parts to keep things moving along

3. Had the music playing – had to keep it low due to the neighborhood setting but we still were able to take in a few good oldie tunes –  hopefully the 30 something's knew some of them.
