TPR Exercises the Lungs…And Everything Else

25 showed to hear war stories from the F3 Heavy-Heavy but all they got was a boat load of burpees, running, and other awful torture – man, it felt good to be back!

Warmarama

  • Play the song Thunderstruck by AC/DC
  • PAX do continuous side straddle hops throughout song
  • Anytime the word Thunder or Thunderstruck is said the PAX drop and do a burpee
  • By my count we did about 33 burpees
  • Quick leg stretch post-song

The Thang

  • Mosey to the track and partner up
  • With your partner, execute the following exercises
    • 100 burpees
    • 200 Muricans
    • 300 squats
    • 400 4-count flutter kicks
  • Partner 1 runs a quarter mile while Partner 2 performs the exercise
  • When Partner 1 returns they flip flop – Partner 2 runs a quarter mile while Partner 1 picks up on the exercise where Partner 2 left off

Run back to the Green for COT

  • Great job by all this morning – there was no "easy" option this morning and I was honored to see 24 other men roll out of bed for the inevitable beatdown that awaited them
  • The story behind Thunderstruck is that during the Heavy-Heavy we had been going for just over 17 hours when we rolled into a park only to be greeted by the PAX of F3 Cape Fear. From there those men led us in 45 minute F3 workout. As a warmup, they played Thunderstruck and we performed the same routine as this morning. It was absolutely awful, especially after going for 17 hours and still wearing a ruck. It's so awful, that YHC has done it the past 2 mornings – just to spread the love.
  • Total mileage this morning was somewhere around 2 miles on top of all the other painful crap we did
  • Lifting up Devo's dad, Bill, as he goes in for heart surgery today
