COT  (Scrappy)

Scrapskin:

1.  The temperature was in the high 40s this AM, which is really perfect, but a bit cool for May in the Carolinas.

2.  On the first run, the PAX launched from the bat cave in a full sprint.  The group was fast this morning and was very hard to keep up with Qbert, Ty Webb, Caboose, and Bam Bam.

3.  Qbert brought the bluetooth box, YHC brought the music.

4.  Bam Bam brought 11 men in his mini van.  That's what I call effeciency. Go green.

5.  Good to see Tommy Boy back and hitting the workouts regularly.  Nice push.

6.  The Bat Flippers were pushing the pace the whole workout.  I threw up in my mouth a few times.  Bam Bam gets stronger as the workout continues.  Ty Webb has the fastest burpee in the PAX.  Caboose is too tall to be that explosive. And Qbert has aligator blood.  Never quits.

7.  We amost went off campus, but Baxter the dog saved you men.

I want to encourage you men as I'm reading a book called "Play the Man" by Mark Batterson.  Play the man, as described in his book, is being the best man you can be.  In life, playing the man is "being on the offense," as opposed to defense.  For example, he explains a man on "offense" is a proactive parent versus a reactive parent.  In marriage, being on the offense is in the form of romance toward your wife.  At work, offense is bringing your A game, the best employee you can be, from 9 to 5.

I am always encouraged to be around you men.  You inspire me to be a better man.  Thank you.
