A lot of good men got together on Saturday morning to get a great beatdown from a great brother. This was Spork's VQ and he handled his leadership responsibilities like a true leader – he delegated it!
So if you missed it, here is the summary: Run up and down the Stang Parking lot a whole lot until people volunteer to thing of new exercises! And it worked! Here's what our brothers made us do to make us better!
The Thang:
20 IC SSH
20 IC Mountain Climbers
15 IC Merkins
Mosey from Launch Pad to suicide hill (parking lot) – all exercises get 10 LBCs at the top of the hill because Spork loves us.
- Spork: Crawl Bear/Bear Crawl
- Dragon Walk/Frog Jump (I thought we were friends!)
- School Bus: Burpee Broad Jump/Quadraphelia
- Closer: Quadraphelia Suicides/Burpees at the line
- Vortex: Made SVU proud with some lunge walks and munkey humpers. Say a prayer for the Munkeys
- Double Check Carioke suicides/5 Merkins at the line
- Sonar: Suicides (What the heck kind of workout is it when we consider suicides a reprieve?)
- Dutch was able to break us away from the parking lot and we were all excited to run! We ran to the flagpole where the Pax lunged the curves, "sprinted" the straights, while the other half did bench dips. There may or may not have been some intense chaos counting 1 – 2 -1 – 2 and then remembering one's number
- Clark ran the Pax to the rock pile where he lead us in full curls, lower curls, high curls, and squat curls.
- Diesel took over with a run down the hill with the rocks and thought it would be hilarious to lead the pax in 10 rock burpees.
- Ziplock had high aspirations for some ab work – pile up the rocks and pass them down the line to the end, then up the hill to the top of the pile. Let's just say that if our town is flooding, you'll not want this crowd to count off by 2s or pass sand bags. We can complicate the simple. #blameitonPOTUS
- The 2.0s threw in some good workouts also with 30 Aussie Pull-ups and 3 hill sprints. Spork was fast so the 2.0 made him do another or be forced by the 2.0 to do Merkins
- Spork ended it with a Spork Special – Run to the flagpole and sprint it home.

- There was soooooo much mumble chatter! Folks were pretty sure Spork was running us for an hour on the parking lot to be sure he didn't have to Q for a while!
He did a great job!!! – Heck – he even got School Bus to type up his BB!!!
