–Herbert M. Sobel Sr. was a commissioned officer with Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, in the 101st Airborne Division during World War II. Sobel was portrayed in the HBO miniseries Band of Brothers by David Schwimmer. Sobel was hated by his men for his brutal punishment of minor offenses and the exceedingly rigorous physical training that his men had to endure. During the Farmer's Carry, many Pax were comparing Q to Sobel.
-Lowe's buckets are surprisingly strong and are capable of carrying more weight than the Pax are…motivation through humiliation.
-At some point during the workout…several pax complained of seepage of bodily fluids from sundry orafaces.
-Witnesses later confirmed there was indeed seepage of some sort…hopefully just in the gas form and not liquid.
-Never laugh at 5lb dumbells…they don't feel very heavy in the beginning…but 20 reps in they change their feel.
-Oktoberfest suggested Ginsu learn some English. Ginsu replied and yes…he does speak English. Think "Coming to America" Good morning my neighbor scene.
-Double Double's son is highly allergic to exercise…he's still swollen from Saturday.
