PAX not listed above were: Bolt and Pickaxe
Listed additional people as co-Q for helping me run down items and making it all happen! Thanks fellas!
17 PAX Total, with at least 3 M's, and many 2.0s!
T-claps to Dry Pond for allowing us to be featured and even more so for allowing us to throw a little pre-race warm up F3 demo. Many folks there chose to join in with us which was great. Everyone else seemed to enjoy watching is and were mesmerized by our cadence. Here is how it went (simple exercise with low reps to show variety, yet keep it short):
5 IC SSH
6 IC Mountain Climbers
4 IC Imperial Storm Troopers
5 IC Cotton Pickers
5 IC Merkins
ROL stretch while I mention that this is just a fun demonstration of what F3 does.
LOR stretch while I mention that we end in reflection/bible verse and prayer.
Read allowed Isaiah 40:31
"But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint."
A verse we use a lot, but thought it was simple and relevant. It also does not require a lot of explaination.
We then pulled to the side and announced that we would close in prayer, and asked for those who wished to partake to circle up with us. Quick prayer, and then let folks begin their run.
T-claps to all the PAX, M's, and 2.0's who were able to come out and help us represent!!!
We also had the regional F3 tent setup with lots of our goodies on display. I'd have to say our setup looked pretty darn cool! Things on display were: Ruck Sacks, Kettle Bells, Fire Hose, Stenciled F3 concrete blocks, Shovel Flags. And of course we offered free waters, and flyers, and business cards!
