Glad I’m Not the Only One Quivering

YHC arrived at 0500 for a couple of warm-up miles and realized at the end of mile 1 that he forgot his mat. Fortunately, Cornwalis had an extra tucked away somewhere at the church. Thanks, Brother!

Total of 8 found their way to Stretch Armstrong, looking for a limbering-up session. It went something like this.

Warm-up walks across the gym: forward lunges with torso twist (L & R) at bottom of lunge; toe walk; heel walk; backward lunge with torso twists (L & R).

3 Yurpees (thanks for counting, Toxic). Tic-tock and Tock-tic…new exercises intended to strengthen the ankle stabilizer muscles. Supine single leg raise to strengthen the inner thigh muscles

Several additional rounds of leg holds and hamstring stretches until all were breathing heavy

High and Low pigeon.  Cobblers pose 2x.  Couple of back stretches.  RECOVER

Moleskine:

  1. most of the pax had been to Stretch in the prior week and some Tony Horton memories were replayed. 
  2. Cornwalis was so mouthy, the pax could hardly hear instruction from the Q
  3. Dragon shared that he only drinks vodka and that wine and beer are for sissies like his father. Thanks for stoking this fire, MiniMe…you had one thing to do and you did it well.
  4. Tagless and Die Hard were whispering "sweet nothings" to each other
  5. Hey, Omaha! Despite my not bringing music, Ultraman still enjoyed his non-running day post.
  6. All the pax shared what they are thankful for in CoT.  There's no doubt we're blessed in many ways.
