Flip Flop Areas:

Moses Star Jump Extravaganza:

Thang:

The Star Work Out on the baseball field.

At 4 stations on the edges of the field, we did the following exercises:

* Home plate -hand release merkins

* Left Field – shoulder touch merkins

* Center field – diamond merkins

* Right field – Carolina Dry Docks

The group was split into 4 with each group starting at a different station. After completing the exercises at your station, run to the center of the field (behind 2nd base) and do Star Jumps…basically a squat jump but when airborne, arms and legs extended out from torso in the shape of a star. Then run to the next station, clockwise.

1st time around, we did 5 repetitions of each exercise at each station.

2nd time around, 10 reps

3rd time around, 15 reps

Mixed in some Cackalacka Choo Choo to break up the pain of those star jumps.

Moses Moleskine:

1. Thanks to Jazz hands for perfecting the Star Jumps with his Jazzy hands and shouting, “I’m a star” at the apex. Jazzy will never need a bell, because it’s hard to lose him.

2. Thanks to “shoes” for being ‘that guy’ who showed up without his shoes tied and missed the first 2 exercises while the rest of us covered for you. If you’re not early, you’re LATE.  Regardless, most kids your age were still sound asleep.  Proud of you, brother! Keep pushing yourself.

3. T-claps, Firestone, for organizing a great morning of 1st and 2nd F.

4. T-claps, Gnarly Goat, for offering up our collective thanks in COT.

5. Ranger and Robins Nest made the long trek from Concord to workout with the real men of LKN/Isotope. Likewise, Sport made the trip over from Denver/East Lincoln, to learn a thing or 2 for his pax. Great to have y’all in the pax this morning.

6. Welcome to Roadie’s v2.0, FNG – Newton’s Scale (I think).

7. Hey Bagboy – I didn’t run out of things to do…not with the great example you demonstrated on Tuesday. If the pax (you) would have worked through the exercises faster, we would have made it to the rest of my plan…just sayin’

8. Hey Jolly Roger – If I venture too far from the cars, I’ll lose my way.

9. T-claps to Calypso and others who ran the Standard…just an easy 5 miles before the pain Firestone inflicted on that Hill.

Firestone Moleskine:

  • 3 years and YHC still has not dialed in 12 Pains of Christmas. Too many audibles and have not finished any year. YHC is a slow learner.
  • Jazz Hands wins the award for most enthusiastic
  • I dumbed it down for Jolly. I am not sure Jolly still got it.
  • Lot's of mumble chatter. So much that I cannot even isolate one to talk about. I do know there was several comments on the amount of Burpees and suggestions on how to improve my 12 Pains concept (which YHC took mental notes).
  • Someone called me an angry little guy. My comment on the hand release mericans vs. hand release burpees was not meant to sound snappy.
  • Everyone pushed it and did well (I am being nice..)

Thanks to Primal. We had a great turn-out of about 40 men. Some of which just attended for 2nd F. I echo many of Moses Moleskine. Thank you for coming.
