The Viking was truly a Foggy Bottom this warm December morn as 15 of Lake Norman's finest joined forces to grow stronger in the mist. The gloom was not kind to newbies looking to park at North Meck Park. Jazzy is not the most gifted geospatially. And, well, he parked illegally in the park on the grass to make the initial mosey. Lots of mumble chatter regarding said parking spot, the ridiculous outfit sporting red shirt with maroon sweats combined with pink cat hat and matching gloves. Not a pretty site.
To make the gloom more fun, the older of the old began to share their dinner energy with the PAX. Everyone loves when PAX members share their methane energy. So much joy!
Anyhow, the workout started weird, got weirder, and then became quite painful. Let us explain.
NOTE: Name-o-rama was a best guess. Please advise where we made mistakes.
The Thang:
- A warmup that started with arm circles and ended with side straddle hop. Yup… arm circles.
- Transition that included Dips, peoples chair balls to the wall… repeato. Balls to the wall is, ah… uncomfortable.
- Grab a partner and a rock
- 150 curls, skull crushers, squats and lbcs while parter runs down hill and quadraphilia back up.
- 30 extra curls for some partners.
- Transition with muzak: Imagine dragons mouth of the river merkin challenge followed by moby flower squat fun. This truly sucked.
- Mary: 10 WWIIs OYO.
- The COT: Prayers for bagpboys coworkers mother and another coworkers daughter and your Request and moby dick’s father recover from surgery
Moleskin:
- Lots of shared methane coming from Axel and Jazzy
- Bagboy was quiet today. It was discomforting.
- BoarHog's dog is a beast.
- Bouncey House won the Imagine Dragons dance off, with a solid showing during squat thrusts on the Moby follow up song.
- Dry Rub continues to rehab successfully. Always good to see DR.
- Magnus, Major Tom, Tiramisu, Peddler, Dry Rub all spent quality time at coffee o rama. Great discussions.
- Stapler continues to gain strength. Love seeing the dedication.
- Special Sauce filled in for Titan today to give ole Jazzy a chest bump. So awesome.
- Dingo with a great Q. He sends his love to the AO at Viking, whose name escapes the writer of this note.
