Frigid Fury: The Battle On Snowshoes!

10 Pax came out to enjoy the Frigid Fury @ 23F!  The AO was still covered with snow and ice, so YHC chose a workout that would have sure footing and be dry. The Pax appreciated the consideration. We stayed in the parking lot (length of a basketball court) conducting the Nolan Richardson.  The routine took the whole time and left time for one Mary exercise.

Pledge of Alliance

Warm-O-Rama:

  • SSH x25 IC
  • Windmills x20 IC
  • Mosey (Around Ballfield) to just to scout the snow and ice

The Thang:

  • Nolan Richardson Routine: Partner 1 will perform each exercise denoted below as Partner 2 backpedals 50 yards, performs a " Bobby Hurley" & jogs back to continue the exercise from the count accumulated by Partner 1. This will continue until the repetition count stated below is met.
    • Burpees (150)
    • Squats (300)
    • WWII Sit Ups (150) modified from Big Boy Sit-ups
    • Little Baby Arm Circles (300)
    • Merkins (150)
    • Imperial Walker (300) really tough!

Mary:

  • X’s O’s 3 sets

Moleskin:

  • Pax organized at 5.32am for the pledge due hazardous road conditions. YHC did not mind waiting as I knew that work out in store would be a “full-on” Beatdown
  • The Nolan Richardson routine is a Pax pleaser. Landline was calling BS on the 150 burpees but then said “not so bad”.  With the running circuit and partner exchange it worked.  It also kept us moving and warm.
  • Welcome back BounceyHouse! It was he first post in a couple of weeks returning from concussion protocol.  Glad to see he back and in full strength.
  • In Eeyore style, came in hot! I am sure glad he has brakes and then parked his truck sideways!
  • Omega was covered head to toe you could only see the whites of his eyes
  • Moby Dick and Grenade clown car’d over.  Both put forth the effort and enjoy equally strong coffee @ Madalyn’s
  • Deep Dish, Boar Hog, and Tripper (Boar Hog’s dog) partnered up and knocked out the routine
  • Landline and Metallica are serious about the Palmetto 200.  Putting in the #standard post work out for better visiability
