Don’t forget your headlamps

So I asked the Pax to bring headlamps and gloves because I’m a nice person and i care about everyone’s tender hands and even more tender hearts.  The sensitivity was revealed when the Pax realized that there was going to be more than 100 years of running on this Q.  The whining.  The complaining.  The middle fingers.  All brought a smile to my 43 year old face.  It all went something like this:

Circle up
SSH x10
IST x10
Mericans x10
Mtn Climbers x10

Mosey to the boat launch (the whining begins lightly)
Mericans x10
Jump Squats x10
Burpees x5

Mosey back up the hill…..then we turned LEFT
OH NO.  More running.  Insert OMG emojis here.

We stopped 1/2 mile later for our second pain station.
10 Mericans at the bottom
10 Jump squats at the middle of the hill
Bear crawl to the top
10 LBC

MORE RUNNING

We found three more pain stations includeing a stop at the church across the street from Stumpy Creek park.  We ran suicides and wheelbarrows and such.

Down to the pull up bars with only 9 minutes remaining.
Everyone did 5 burpee pull-ups and we moseyed back to the FLAG for Mary.

Moleskine:
1.  Thank you to Duvall and P’Diddy for making the trek from Davidson for my Q.  P’Diddy was the one responsible for naming me back before Race City existed.  Thank you guys.
2.  Thanks for Macbeth for making the longest drive all the way from Cornelius to join me.  Sorry about the calf!
3.  As I told the Pax during COT, I started F3 in January 2013.  I’m down 50lbs, healthier, stronger, and have some of the best friends in this group that I’ve had my entire life.  Thank you.
4.  Today I turned 43.  I’m grateful for so much.  In my time on this earth I’ve learned a couple things I try constantly to put into practice.  Show gratitude.  Be humble.  Treat others nice.  Don’t be an asshole.  Love your wife and kids like its your last day on the planet.

Thanks Hummer for letting me take the keys to the world famous Glen!
