Wilderness pax displays super impressive Super Bowl knowledge

The Wilderness pax this week displayed super impressive Super Bowl knowledge as they nearly aced the at times contentious Super Bowl trivia game, #factcheck

There was absolutely no warmarama as we launched straight into the RTR (Run the Rough).  Pax was honored to have the RTR founder, Ruffles, present.  RTR is a classic at The Wilderness – 3 mile run from the AO to Gilead (or close enough to Gilead) and back, each neighborhood street we cross is a pain station (3 miles, 12 stops, 10 stops today as YHC lost track of time).

RTR was my introduction to F3 several years ago.  I innocently went for a morning run on the Parkway, minding my own business, then ran upon this cult like group of guys who heckled me, made threats or promises to either save me from or turn me into a some kinda clown (I cannot remember the details).  I do recall they seem to be having a better time than me, so yeah, I am "in".

Anyway, in prep for the Super Bowl, during this RTR the pax was challenged to answer trivia questions at each pain station.  If whoever answered (with confidence and passion) was correct, he selected the exercise.  But not all in the pax could answer as we had a common foe so to speak, the burpee.  As you may know, The Force is well into a Burpee Challenge (50 per day for a month), so naturally, the Q did not want The Force answering anything, therefore, The Force could only select the exercise if the pax answered incorrectly.

At first, The Force seem fine with this game show format.  But it didn't take long for BS calls claiming that the game was rigged, Q was colluding with the pax; honestly, lot of fake news.

Unfortunately, pax tripped up on a couple of the questions, and we were forced (haha) into 40 burpees.

Want to call out / thank the Samson guys for converging with us, great to see some new faces in the hood.

And, of course, want to thank The Force for the opportunity to lead this fine group.
