At a brisk 22 degrees, it was surprising to see the numbers at The Glen(TM), but….why would anyone question the fortitude of these stalwart men, and of course their (cough) insatiable desire the learn about the glories of one of the most notorious NFL franchises, from this humble fan (who is NOT representative of 'other' Eagles fans….per se). -TO PUT IT MILDLY, there was a LOT of harassment for this one from the PAX. It was deserved, knowing how Eagles fans have harassed folks of opposing teams over the years.
-Shambala lost his phone on the second hole, and thus the pax to retracted to find said phone (possibly causing us to 'finish' in the middle of the woods–this, however, cannot be proven in a court of law)
-Deepest apologies to anyone who might have tripped and fallen during the post, it was dicey running in them thar woods.
-There was a diversion out there, near the pull up bars, where the pax was asked to do 1 burpee, 9 Mericans IC, and 6 pull-ups, then double that, memorializing the 1960 Eagles National Championship, our last one.
-Coffeeteria was at the Rocky Mount Methodist Church. Pancakes, HOT coffee, eggs, and sausage. It was awesome, simply said.
-KUDOS to the Girl Scouts for serving an incredible breakfast.
