What a morning. Perfect weather. 3 came out to celebrate some spring running.
0520, Vortex shows up at the SVU on time for a 0530 start. SMH
Vortex precedes to then try to dust Skipper, turning on the jets and setting the cruise control somewhere around a 7:10 pace. We race into the gloom towards and anticipated meet-up with our friend Dandelion. Hoping for a Gecko sighthing as well, we welcome Dandelion into the fold after about a mile and then head to the boat ramp.
Vortex continues with his arrogant leadership style, not providing direction to the course design for the day and causes Skipper to veer off course. Then he juices it up to try to dust us again. Dandelion throws his hands up in disgust and mumbles some non PG-13 commentary.
We let Vortex go his merry way at the SV sign and then Dandy and I finish out our 6- 7 miles.
– Our prayers were answered as Vortex's vest was fully functioning today.
– Dandelion had shorts on today, so it must have been over 60 degrees
– Lots of talk around the AO to AO ruck and how Vortex was going to sabatoge it (He's jealous)
– Skipper closed things out in his garage with a few sets of KB swings and his Merkin homework
