Twenty-five Pax rolled in, some prior to the HIGHLY publicized 7 AM start time. FLG rucked-solo, and Strutter, Tender, and Mini-fridge ran. Among those, in addition to the named Pax, were Sledgehammer, Porker, Golden Bear, Tender, and Lady Bug ( all named, but not registered on this WS).
FNG-1 is Doug Morrison (58), a science teacher at Davidson Day and EH'd by Lady Bug. FNG-2 is Jeff Blair,(2nd post), FNG-3 is Jeff also second post…that's it! The latter 2 were name, as is our custom, more on that later.
It was intimidating, following Dredd's masterful beatdown last week at The Glen celebrating F3RCUSA's 5th Anniversary. Coffeeteria, donuts, and celebratory Tshirts were provided by CHIEF, THANKS CHIEF!!! It was a barn burner, no lake jump, but close. As such, a reinvigorated Pax showed, bright eyed and bushy tailed, to learn what their Saturday morning Hummer led Q would entail. Here are the details:
Warm Ups: Mozy to parking lot near first baseball field, High Knees, Butt Kickers, R/L Karaoke, Kick Stepper, COP: SSH 20, IST 15, Mericans 10, MC's 15, WM's 10, Scorpions 5 R/L,
The Thang: Mozy to back of Horatio Ebert field, TOP is 15 squats, this is a constant (C). Run to bottom 10 burpees, quadrafilia up, C squats, run down 8 burps……6, 4, 2. Fatigue sets in. Grab a rock. COP: 10 Sitouts, 7 sets of 7 reps with 7 count rest in b/t, GENEROUSLY counted off by the Pax, rounding the circle. It was harmonious, splendid, and laughable all at the same time. Curls, Skull Crushers, Bent Over rows, and Mil Presses (7 of 7 each) with Burpees, CDD's, and Mericans as 'rest periods' in between sets. It was lovely…..really. Mozy to steps, bunny-hop up steps.
Jumparama: Divide into two (2) circles, each with a jump rope. LEADER is the jump roper, and he must do 60 jumps. WHEN he is jumping, the remainder of the circle is doing an excercise CALLED OUT by said LEADER. Capiche? 'Which' excercises were done is irrelevant, fact is….they were DONE, AMARAP, and that's what you ostensibly need to know. Mozy back to home parking area for….

Moleskine:
-FNG's…..there were three, two had their second post, and as such, they were named.
-First, Jeff Blair-water skier, father of four, Henry Schein rep….so much to go on! The Pax went with a long ago famous waterski haven in central Florida, Cypress Gardens, set upon beautiful Lake Eloise! Welcome Cypress!!!
-Jeff ? is from Michigan, loves the Bears, and so it was almost obvious to use The Fridge (from the 1985 legendary team), but Jeff is not nearly as big…..SO, Mini-fridge! Welcome Mini-fridge!!
-Chicken Little is a speedy sonofagun….he rocked this workout.
-Some of the Pax are jump-ropers, some are not, simply said. Lady Bug and Santiago fall into the former catagory.
-A LARGE crew went Burke Circke to work for Habitat for Humanity. These include, but may not be limited to: Santiago, Cupcake, Crack, Apehangers, THE Senator, Dewey, Plinko, Deep End, Shambala, Cheezewiz, his 2.0, and YHC. In a #BB from Manny, our wonderful 'Sup', we did very well out there and earned a GOLD STAR!!! Let's try to make this a 2-4x's/year habit, please:-) KUDOS to Santiago for setting up the day!!!

-My friend Jim DeSantis, from dental school, once said, "it ain't bragging if it's true". Our newly minted Lady Bug (who also EH'd a guy on his SECOND post) quietly disclosed that he felt THIS week's Q was harder than last week's…..REALLY?? I mean……this can't be true!!! If he's willing to undergo a lie detector (does anyone have access to that type of device?), would this be admissable in a court of law. If so, well then……watch out Dredd!!
-Coffeeteria was held at Panera, and ostensibly exceptional conversation was had by all!
-Let's work hard to get the 'named' guys registered on this WS, it makes #BB's a WHOLE bunch easier.
