Nine (nueve) PAX headed to The Local to reminisce on where it all began. Frankly, it (The Local) ended today; however, the consumption of tacos on this fine Taco Tuesday occasion will likely live on for years to come, and then some mas. YHC and Gnarly Goat grabbed the long table at 11:48ish. Magnus drug in an FNG (Paul) and yet another Miyagi who posts in the Fort Mill area. My suggestion for naming for FNG Paul would be Taco Meat, and Miyagi be change to Mr. Miyagi given his age vs the current Miyagi. Enough of that, let’s get to the meat of the bb.
By noon all PAX had arrived and Gnarly Goat began devouring his tres tacos, with delight. By 12:05 the place was packed and the two servers handling the entire established were overwhelmed. The far side of the table was able to order food while being asked for drinks, but the good end, YHC end, went unnoticed…for some time. Eventually, and a lonnnnggg eventually, everyone had their tacos. Given the amount of time many PAX had to drop off to get back to what’s important, work.
To ask for a condiment, a drink, even napkins was not a wise idea, and if heard, it was quickly forgotten. Moby, unfortunately, didn’t receive his drink until about an hour into today’s event. The Local has been our standard, the benchmark to Uptown Tacos, and the inaugural spot, however I assume that stops today.

Food 7 still loaded tacos. Today I had two beef and one steak
Will I return NO, simply due to the service, which is a typical issue here, and there is an understanding of that, however today was unacceptable.
A lot more in my head but I need to digress from today's debacle.
