A nice, bright morning with a clear sky and a gentle breeze. Also, we worked out. Solo standard by MQ @Gypsy
Warmup

The Thang
Bars
- Mosey around church
- Stop somewhere in the back for Carolina Dry Docks
- Mosey some more
- Stop somewhere for `merkins
- Mosey still a little more, stop at the pull-up bars
- Grab a bar and perform 15 knee-ups
- I heard a “Fifteen? (groan)”. Sounds like the right number was selected.
- Walk out to the road, grab a partner for 25 leg throw-downs
- Return to the bars and perform 15 more knee-ups
- Return to the road, 25 more partner leg throw-downs
- Mosey back towards the church for one-arm box pushups (here you’re parallel to a curb, close enough for one hand to be up on the curb, the other on the ground.) Pushups with the left hand on the curb, then spin and pushups with the right hand on the curb
- I heard “It’s not like we didn’t do enough pushups yesterday [when Gypsy MQ’d The Mighty Oak]”. Success.
- Mosey to the front of the church where the bells were waiting
Bells
- Kettlebell situps (like a LBC, but the bell held to the upper chest)
- Goblet Squats
- Chest Squeeze (squeeze the bell in between your palms, you’re not gripping it or holding the handle, with arms extended but not locked. We raise and hold, then lower and hold, on the Q’s “up” or “down”)
- We did maybe 4-5 pairs of up/downs. Holding for not very long, maybe 5 seconds at each position.
- Bells down, over to the wall for dips
- Then some single-leg step ups
- Repeato, from KB situps to the step-ups
- Mosey to the back of the church
- Quadraphelia up the hill, then descend forward and do 1 burpee at the bottom; repeato
Mary
We went around the circle with Roadie kicking it off

- Recover-Recover
Moleskin
- My first Q here at the Dragon Slayer – like Saint Mark and Lake Forest Church, this is a really nice AO with a lot of variety. On the way out today I even noticed there’s a baseball diamond in THE FRONT of the property. Please go visit this AO and give Gypsy a Q on the calendar while you’re at it.
- Thanks Gypsy and thanks to the PAX that joined today.

- Max: 50 (highest age)
