Just before high noon, the Taco Express (formerly known as the Blue Line) pulled into Bland Station with Jaws, Turnpike, Tagless, and YHC. Turncoat, Roddie, Mona Lisa, Ramrod and Twister found other means of transportation to our final destination; Hot Taco.
We sat down at a large table, which included an equally large quantity of chips and salsa to get us started. My first trip to Hot Taco so I went with the first three tacos on the menu. CARNE MOLIDA, EL POLLO, and BAJA. The only complaint was that I did not order one more taco but I was bound by the Taco Tuesday rule I had just created. Rule #1 Four or more Tacos are for Poster! – If you don’t post in the morning you are limited to the shame of three tacos. The price is steep but I failed to post and paid for it. The final price when the check arrived for my three $2 tacos, ice water and quite a bit more than my share of chips and salsa came in at $6.42. I would challenge anyone to find a more reasonable price and finer company in Uptown or anywhere.
