And we're off….We have not done the Nittany Loop in awhile, and Vortex hates it, and he's not here, so let's do it.
The Nittany loop is of course named after our long lost brother Nittany, whose house is at the outer most point of the course. The loop is quite technical. Many sharp uphills and downhills, and YHC got over 370ft of elevation gain in only a 4.5 miler. TommyLee was with us, so the cul de sacs offered us a chance to catch up with him.
– Cheetah was VERY excited about the SVU Tri tomm. 0600 at the docks if interested.
– 2 Jeeves sightings in a week! It can't get much better than that. (Except if there were 3)
– TommyLee tells YHC that after today's run that he'll crest 50 miles on the week. Then he asks me how many I've done so far. I said "A bit less than that." Which technically is not a lie.
– Blart busted out a few Camino de Muertes before even starting today. BOSS.
– Dandelion is FINALLY giving in and getting a headlamp for the BRR.
– Theuss just plugs-away and never complains. Unlike some people (Vortex). It was a tough course today brother and I kept the throttle down a bit. Great job.
