Life is great at the Estate

Also in attendance were Moon Raker and FNG Patrick. Plenty of others showing up to run..including a very slender and spry looking Silver Bullet. I nearly convinced Calypso and Mooch to stick around for the bootcamp… ha

I'll stick to some of the highlights as this workout was a bit all over the place… or "full body"

The warmup started out as usual. However, we ended in style – the Lieutenant Dan, followed by 8 bam bams, followed by Professor calling the Jabberwockie. Good stuff. The Lieutenant Dan didn't seem as difficult this go round, but the results were still the same for me the next morning- it certainly felt like something jumped up and bit my in the buttocks. Sound off in comments if you felt the same. Guess I need to do that routine more often. Also, the plan is to call 9 bam bams at YHC's next Q for those of you who care to know. Such a wind sucking exercise.

Next we did 3 sets of: 10 pullups, 10 burpees, and 25 LBCs

Then 12 incline merkins IC, 12 Bulgarian split squats IC, and 12 decline merkins IC

Then mosey to hill for 3 sets of – Quadrafilia uphill, 10x hand release merkins, mosey down hill and 10 burpees

At this point the Pax had had enough and opted for a game of Jollyball to finish out the last 15 minutes. We used a smaller soccer ball and the small soccer goals this time. Ground was wet and ball was slick, but still pretty fun. The more I play the more I think 7 players is a good max per team. Gets too crowded and chaotic with more than that. Kosar is considering running a Jollyball team tournament soon, I'm in for that.

Turnpike, thanks for the opportunity to Q the fine gentlemen of the Estate and thanks for allowing me to lead today men
