Mighty Oak gets back to its beat down roots


YHC took the reins as good old fashion beat downs in LKN have become scarce as the PAX are in full conversion to a running and biking club. Looking to ensure upper body strength is not lost we got after it at 530am.

Warmoramoa

– SSH x 20, IST X 15, Carrot Puller X 10, TS X 10, Merkins X 10, Burpees X 5, Bearcrawl 25 yards, and then 25 partner situps x 25 with a flapjack

Station 1:

Octagon Pit – 10 Over and backs, 15 dips, 15 incline merkins, 5 burpees, and 25 partner situps

Station 2:

Block Work – Curls X 10, Skull Crushers X 10, Shoulder press X 10, Chest Press X 10, Block Swings x 15, Squat to Press X 10, Partner situps x 25, 5 burpees.  We repeated this 1 additonal time.

Station 3:

Mosey to playground – 10 pull ups, 15 merkins, x 3 rotations mosey back to block station and do second set

Blocks away plank waiting for the group, fill in with 10 merkins and 5 burpees and 25 partner situps, then mosey to the cars for 5 more burpees before COT

1. An honnor to have Bunyan the man who invented the burpee join us today and sorry for the challeging math skills on rotating 2 to the left I know counting can be tough at 5:30am.

2. Good work by the pax today, limited running and maximimum work left many smoked in a good way.
