Murphing Under the Light of a Full Moon

Event Date

Aug 27, 2018

7 men of F3DenverNC decided that just because today is the first day of school for most people in Lincoln County, it would not be an excuse to not post to one of the most challenging workouts… #TheMurph #DoubleNegative. Then Hold Up… 3 more posted to the rescue park at Sunset to complete the day

We got the ground moist. We welcomed Iron Horse and Puddle back from a little hiatus. Off we went. As we ran upon Lil' Egypt Road we noticed our typical path had caution tape. A quick review we were able to recognize the hazard…about a 2'x2' ditch across the main carpool line into Catawba Springs Elementary. Ummm, this might be a problem in a few hours… with it being the first day of school and all. We navigated around the hazard and finished the Murph.

Reflection:

Romans 12:4-5
For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.

We are one body in Christ. We all do different things, we have different spiritual gifts. We use these gifts to help each other and other members of our community.
