Seven Richard Simmons-looking dudes came out on a Tuesday morning to break a sweat whilst listening to the oldies. There may have been some chafing.

The Thang

Cinder block pain stations with musical accompaniment. We did 12 reps of the weighted exercises and 50 reps of the cardio exercises

Round 1

  • Bent over hockey stick rows (one cinderblock at each end of hockey stick)

  • Squats with OH press – 25lb dumbbell

  • Gun show curls with cinder

  • Alternating mercans with one hand on cinder

  • Back and forth alternating shuffle steps on cinder – 50

  • Mason twist with 12lb medicine ball

  • One arm kettle swings with 15lb dumbbell

  • Side shoulder raises with 12lb dumbbell

  • Laying down OH chest raise and press with cinder

  • Jump rope (sans rope) – 50

Run lines in parking lot forwards, sideways and back

Round 2

  • Incline mercans (one cinderblock at each end of hockey stick)

  • Upright row (trapezius) – 12lb dumbbell

  • Alternating mercans with one hand on cinder

  • Alternating steps/kicks on cinder – 50

  • Down and ups with 12lb medicine ball

  • Tri extensions with 15lb dumbbell

  • Front raises (shoulders) with 12lb dumbbells

  • Dips on cinder

  • Mountain climbers – 50

Take one lap around parking lot

Round 3 – Repeato Round 1

Round 4 – Repeato Round 2
