98 Burpees


Unable to theme the workout to the Pax liking of a 98 Degree concert, I opted for the next best alternative of 98 Burpees.  The 12 in attendance quickly voiced their acceptance of the workout,  mumble chatter continued to be strong and some comments could have even been confused as support of the Virgin Q.

Following the Excelsior, the run-light workout went as follows:

WARMORAMA

Side Straddle Hop x 20 IC

Imperial Storm Trooper x 15 IC

Carrot Pullers x 15 IC

'Mercans x 10 IC

THE THANG

Short lap around the parkign lot complete with High Knees and But Kickers returning us back to the starting point where we did 10 Burpees OYO.

Indian Run for a long lap around the parking lot back to the starting point where we did 10 Burpees, OYO.

Indian Run for a 2nd long lap around the parking lot back to the starting point where we again completed 10 Burpees OYO.

We finished much quicker then planned, thus we the Q was forced to take alternative measures which included the following:

Mosey to the nearest wall for a People's Chair.  Held the position until Tantrum was tired.

Mosey down to the play ground for 10 Pull-ups.

Mosey to the track:

10 – Burpees

Sprint to the 50yd line

Grab a bench – 25 Dips IC

Sprint back 

10 – Shoulder Touch 'Mercans

Grab a rock:

Assistance from the Pax for Curls, Shoulder Press, Mason Twist, Squats, more Curls, and an 8-Count exercise which name I didn't catch not could I even describe how it went, Low Flutter. 

RECOVER, RECOVER

 

MOLESKIN

  • Virgin Q yet Master Q didn't attend?!?!?!  Gave an excuse of having a marathon.
  • Snake Eyes, whom encouraged me to join F3, also failed to attend.  To show there is no hard feelings, the Shoulder Touch 'Mercan made its presence known.
  • Freedom, whom opted to give me my F3 name after a boy band (98 Degrees) and not the movie which carries my name (V for Vendetta) was in attendance.  Therefore, the workout was themed for 98 Burpees and not 5 (V).
  • Special thanks to The Professor for literally HAULTING every exercise.
  • Strong 2nd F Excelsior with Black Eye Pea, Tantrum, and Freedom.
  • FNG-1, Guy Smiley and FNG-2, Point Break are 2.0's of Tantrum and Outsource respectively.
  • Strong double down from Hoodie. He almost wore his hoodie this morning but it was about 10 degrees too warm for it.
