So, What did the Basin Runners Avoid Today?

Several of our Pax were either running or supporting the Basin Run, therefore our numbers were somewhat pedestrian in size, but 13 men is still pretty solid for The Glen on a day like today.  (as you can see, yhc is missing two off the above list, please advise!).  The Basin Run Relay (BRR), The Pickle, The Catawba River Basin Run (The CaRBR), The Lake Norman Relay (LKNR) has several names, and great job to Pierogi for coming up with the idea and executing its existance!  Several F3 teams  (17) completed the run, and several F3 gents worked to support that event…….'remember, if you can't be an athlete, please be an athletic supporter'……

As our chilly Glen greeted her Pax in darkness and dampness, ruckers rucked, runners ran #thestandard, then all were coelesced around the Flag for a Pledge, then off to:

Warm-Ups: Mozy to middle soccer field parking lot (upper one) for High Knees, Butt Kickers, R/L Karaoke, into:

COP (IC)-SSH 15, IST 15, SDS 15, Mericans 10, Squat Troopers 10, CDD's 15, HillBilly's 10. Off to the upper baseball parking lot for:

MC (Merican Circle)- 10 IC each of Wide Grips, Diamond, Regular, with a set of 10 Escalating Squat Jumpers in there to rest the pecs for a couple secs (SWIDT).

Wallwork: Dips IC 12, R Leg Single Squats (RLSS), Dips IC 10, L Leg Single Squats (LLSS), Dips IC 8.  Off to the 'lone' lit field that had been calling our name since our arrival.

Gig Harbor Run (GHR):  Around the soccer field, 'Sprints' of 60, 50, 40, 30, 20, 10 seconds.  AFTER each sprint, the Pax was gathered in the center circle of the soccer field, and given the following exercises (IC) Squats 10, Heel Slappers 10…..Well, that was the plan, but is was interrupted after the 50 second Sprint by the field marshall (who allegedly works VERY early on Sats) when he told us the fields were closed!!!  What?  SO, off to the steps, Hop up, R/L Karaoke up, then gather for a quick circle of certain exercises that yhc is quite sure occurred, but the week's distance from when this #BB was written and when the events actually occurred, but cannot remember exactly what was done.  Then the GHR was re-instituted over on the lower baseball parking lot for the 40, 30, 20, 10 second sprints with some knarley 10 count exercises thrown in there.

Mary: Low Flutter 25, Mason 15 (SCH), Box Cutter, Cutter Box 10 each (Brushless), and some other exercises.
