We had a 10 minute cap with 2 min rest between rounds. PAX got to pick 4 of the 5 stations. Personally, I found the KB Swings with the 62# beast and the box jump burpees to be pretty miserable. No one injured, everyone straight SWOLE at the end.ReflectionMark chapter 9 has the story of a man who sought relief for his son who had terrible fits since childhood. You can imagine the whole family’s pain and trialas they watched this boy over the years foamat the mouth, fall into water or fire and had to constantly watch and tend him. The father says, “If thou can’t do anything, have compassion on us”, asking on behalf of the son, himself and the family. The Savior reminds him that if he has faith all things are possible, to which he replies “I believe, help thou my unbelief.”The man lead with his strength and acknowledged his weakness. When times are difficult in our lives, don’t give up the ground you earned. Hold the faith you have. When I was faced with the death of my teenage daughter, I was blessed to remember 2 key things – first, God loves me so this was NOT a punishment. It would be hard but it had a purpose. And second, Jesus IS the Christ, and so everything will be made right through His Atonement. Elder Jeffrey Holland said, “The size of your faith or the degree of your knowledge is not the issue—it is the integrity you demonstrate toward the faith you do have and the truth you already know.” When we have trials, let us hold fast to the integrity of the faith we have.Have a wonderful Christmas. An honor to be with the men this morning.
