Pickle in a Dish

Ten fellas came out to Cobalt on a Tuesday to try their hand at playing a game called Pickle in a Dish. This is also known as Monkey in the Middle, Piggy in the Middle, or Pickle in the Middle, or Monkey, which is a children's game in which two or more players must pass a ball to one another, while a player in the middle attempts to intercept it.

Mosey to back lot for the Man in the Middle.

Three groups: One on either side of parking lot approximately 40 yards apart.  One group is the "man in the middle".  Continuous exercise on either side, the "man in the middle" group runs to relieve that team on the exercise.  That group then becomes the man in the middle, and then relieves the other side.  Continue for 6-7 minutes.

The rounds were:

  • Mericans – Squats

  • Lunges – Mt. Climbers

  • Planks – CDD

  • Burpees – Apollo Anton Ono

  • Ten in attendance on a Tuesday may in fact be a record for 2019

  • Q finds himself exploring some of the long dormant and classic F3 workouts for the new year. You always find your way back to the classics. And I also like the ones with little counting required

  • First time FNG’s today included Kruggerands friend Brad and Rod from Overlook. Strong showing indeed and hope to see you back

  • Not a lot of mumblechatter captured today since we were in 3 separate groups.

  • Twister procedure alluded to previously may have actually involved cautherized vas deferens

  • Not exactly sure what Q was pivoting on during the Mason twist. Options considered included a coccyx and/or a ‘rrhroid

  • Prayers for Kruggerands friend who is going thru a downsizing at work

  • Solid work men!
