Capri lap around parking lot to gauge timing

Gather back at launchpad and YHC shares his favorite exercice—Ascending bear crawl merkins—Start at one side of parking lot, bear crawl over to other parking space and do 1 merkin, bear crawl back and do 2 merkins, continue up to 5 merkins—much confusion here as some started on the opposite side and even began with lunges (not sure where that came from). Could be due to poor communication from the Q and probably had nothing to do with the chatty Cathys in the group.

THE THANG

Circuit of Pain

Using the parking lot there are 6 pain stations, one at each end, and one on both sides of the 2 cut throughs. Find some one that will push you, or you can push—at which time Fenway decides to literally push the Q:-)

MARY

Dr. W's (IC) x 10—"this is where you say One." Apparently there's not a lot of 8 counts taking place here.

Sandy V's (IC) x 10

REFLECTION

Recycled from last week, but felt it was fitting with what both the Denver and Huntersville groups are going through this week. A simple quote YHC stumbled across.

"Tough times will end, but tough people will remain."

MUMBLECHATTER

-Thanks to Lawndart for the push. It's always a blast to Q at a new place and meet some new brothers. This is a great AO with endles space and possibilities. Step up to Q, twice a month somewhere, and the Master Q job is effortless (somewhat). See Lawndart if interested in taking on the MQ for Fallout.

-Good Standard group and even got to see some Christmas lights still up. Small world but come to find out Stray and YHC were on the same tennis courts during some fierce Piedmont 3A battles some 24 years ago.

-The sandpile and bags are a nice edition to the AO. Plenty of fun can be had there.

-Turnpike was quick to post the shovel flag but then left it? Maybe there needs to be a penalty for that.

-Plenty of PAX shedding clothes, hats, and shoes?!? (which the Q can always take as a compliment)

-Today's workout was in honor of brother Sonar who in the Mustang group is the King of the Circuit and keeping his workouts scalable and hard all at the same time. If you don't get anything out of a circuit, you didn't put anything in.

-9 Lives taking the opportunity to EH during Mary (I'm sure it had nothing to do with the Dr. W's) but he did return visibly upset he missed them.

-Heisman has his own t-shirt so he's obviously ready to Q…get him on the calendar!

-Upcoming Dates

HDHH (tomorrow 8 PM) at Duckworth's

Polar Bear (Feb. 23rd)—See 9 lives, and be sure to grab one of the sweet beanies

Denver AO2AO ruck (April 5th)—this is a 2nd F based event where we ruck from our Mustang AO up to SVU (13.1 miles) and have some fun along the way. Plenty of first timers and you choose your weight. No cost but we typically do some sort of charity tie in if led to give.

-Solid group and work this morning. Didn't catch all of the mumblechatter (Q's selective hearing)

-Pleasure to lead and be led by this group.
