Emmaus and other things

well, sometimes it’s better late than never.

in this case, maybe it’s not but here goes anyway.

This thing we do is much bigger than what we advertise.  On Saturday the 13th I celebrated 6 years in F3.  You guys have taken me through periods of forming, storming, norming and performing.  It has been a journey that has given me my best friends in the world.  Seriously, through all the workouts, runs, csaup, 2ndF, vulnerability, joking, and bonding, I feel so fortunate to be part of this brotherhood.

I once visioned leading you men through workouts, and then one day I was given an opportunity to serve as a board member, next thing you know I was honored to serve as nantan.  The time went fast, but 6 years later I look back and realize that in almost every situation I encounter, I fall back on my experience from this organization.

I have been in great shape and performing better than I could have imagined, and I’ve been injured and unable to do much of anything.  But what remains constant is the support of my brothers.

I’m so proud to see the growth here and I’m confident that Bagboy and the rest of our board and field generals are charging ahead.
