Foggy Dew at the Glen

FNG-1 is Junk Bag, FNG-2 is Bueller, FNG-3 is Sausage King

It was a Dark and Stormy Night  Gloomy Morning. A damp haze hung over the Glen as the Pax arrived for their beating. 18 HIM's showed up for pain despite these Carolina outdoor suana conditions. After showing respect by standing for our Pledge of Allegiance, we moseyed on down hill for some warm-ups.

WARM-O-RAMA

Consisted of SSH, IST, Windmills, Veggie pickers, 'Mericans – All 15 each IC. Interspersed were 5 penalty burpees for the late arrivals…just because.

THE THANG

We moseyed back up hill and circled up for the counting. After count-offs by 3, Pax split into repective groups.

1's –  To bars for 10-Pullups & 10-Diamond 'Mericans.

2's – To swings for Swericans (YHC made up name for 'Mericans w/ feet on swing) & 10-Step-ups each leg.

3's – To lot for 10-Dips on wall, Bunny Hop up steps & 10-'Mericans at top.

All groups rotated through stations 1-3 for 3 rounds making 9 stations total with some whining and moaning but work got done and muscles got chisled.

After Planking for the 6, Pax moseyed to upper rock pile to pick out an appropriate sized rock for gravity based excercises. Although YHC warned of rock sharing, some Pax chose to not think of others and pick out reedonckulous size rocks. This was a decision all would regret after a couple rounds.

Rock Work: 15-Curls, 15-Overhead Press, 15-Skullcrushers, 15-Bent Over Rows, 15-Flutter Press. Mosey to hill and Quadraphelia up to top for 5-Burpees then back down or 15-'Mericans.

Repeato, Repeato or 3 rounds

Mary

Mary was short with 10-Boxcutters, 20-LBC's, 10-Cutter Box. Recover, Recover.

Moleskin

COT – Prayers up for Hummer and his family as they say goodbye to his father this weekend. Thoughts are with you brother.

Even though SOME Pax (names not named (Apehangers…cough, cough)) thought it would be nice to burden their bretheren with huge rocks during rotations, they soon regretted those monster boulders in rounds 2 & 3 when they got their rocks back and the pain came. Still, an outstanding efort was shown by all as we put in a full 59 minutes of work in miserable conditions with minimal grumbling and a few Fire Ant bites.

As always, it was an honor to lead a fine group of men as we sharpened eachothers bodys, mind and souls. Thanks you!
