Today's uptown #TacoTuesday convened at the Whole Foods on Stonewall St. Several pax had never been to this Whole Foods location, and weren't even aware that it served tacos. Indeed, the WF tacqueria is up and running every day, and one can order three tacos for $8 (if OK with all three having same protein and fillings) or otherwise $3 per taco (if you want to mix and match).
Uptown regulars Jaws, Ramrod, Roadie, and Squiggy were all in attendance today. Also joining us were Jimmy O, who has been known to hit up the uptown #TacoTuesday from time to time, as well as "del Norte" taco regular Duvall, who just happened to be in the area for business. Solid #F3Counts today. In fact, the pax needed to commandeer a second table in order to fit the entire group – Roadie, Jaws, and Squiggy ended up at one table, with Ramrod, Duvall, Jimmy O, and YHC at the other.
Not sure what the topics of conversation were at the Roadie/Jaws/Squiggy table today, or how these pax rated their tacos …. someone sound off below and fill us in. YHC's table covered various topics, including Duvall's many 2019 relays, GoRuck Star Course weather, foreign adventures and travel, and of course tacos. Several pax asked for flour tortillas today, but all appeared to have gotten corn. Possible that the kitchen was out of flour. Corn tortillas fell apart, but tacos were still tasty overall, and were served quickly. Pax will be back, hopefully at a single larger table next time.
